Saving Lives

Many people can save a life, even you if you found yourself in a position that called for desperate measures. Most people think of doctors and nurses saving lives everyday in hospitals across the country.  This is true too and these people are professionals and have had the training that is required to have the job they have.

Nurse practitioners too can save lives as their position is much like that of a doctor.  These people can diagnose and treat various diseases and in some states they are also able to prescribe drugs.  In the US, there are only four states left how do not allow a nurse practitioner to prescribe.  Some states require a NP to collaborate with a MD and supervisions is also necessary.

If you are already a nurse practitioner and searching for a job, you might first go to the internet to see what is available.  If you live in the UK or in Ireland, you can take a look at the current openings for nurse practitioner jobs and see if there is one you can apply for.   Anyone who works in the healthcare field is a person who has compassion for those in need and they love what they do.
