Smell the Flowers

Flower essences come from the blossoms of plants. They are prepared from a sun infusion in a bowl of water, then further weakened, potentized, and then preserved with brandy. These preparations represent the distinct imprint, or energetic impression of each flower species.
The founder of flower essence therapy was an English surgeon named Dr. Edward Bach. He was a founder in understanding the contact of our emotional bodies to our physical health. The 38 original flower remedies, known as Bach Healing Herbs were used to evaluate the underlying emotional causes of diseases. Ill health, physical imbalances and dis-eases are all results of an imbalance or when we lose our awareness or disconnected from our life purpose. The living power of nature collected from the blooms of our flowering plants are prepared and used in healing our physical, etheric, astral, and spiritual bodies.
Flower essences enjoy a reputation of being very safe to use and are very highly effective. Drops can be taken directly from the bottle and are most times applied under the tongue. Western medicine remains unconvinced of the evidence to support flower essence and their effectiveness.
